Each Spring, Prairie Stone conducts a controlled burn of the park's natural landscaping. This burn is an integral part of managing the native grasses and wildflowers. The burn allows new plants to grow as the weather warms, and is conducted on weekends using careful controls. The burn is a part of managing Prairie Stone's unique and sustainable environment.
